CODEX PSYCHOLOGICAL AND FORENSIC SERVICES, PLLC Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Forensic Practice

Policy Statement

Codex Psychological and Forensic Services does not use artificial intelligence at any stage of the forensic evaluation or consultation process. This prohibition is absolute and applies to the following:

Record Review AI tools are not used to review, summarize, analyze, or organize records provided in connection with any forensic evaluation or consultation. All records — including medical records, legal documents, prior psychological evaluations, law enforcement records, and any other materials provided by retaining parties — are reviewed personally by Dr. Bartuski.

Clinical Interviews and Data Collection AI tools are not used during or in connection with clinical interviews, psychological testing, or any other method of data collection used in the evaluation process. All interactions with evaluees are conducted directly by Dr. Bartuski.

Scoring and Interpretation Standardized psychological tests are scored and interpreted by Dr. Bartuski in accordance with the test publisher's guidelines and established forensic practice standards. AI tools are not used to assist with scoring, interpretation, or the integration of test findings into clinical conclusions.

Formulation of Opinions All professional opinions rendered by Codex Psychological and Forensic Services are formed solely by Dr. Bartuski based on her clinical findings, record review, professional training, and expertise. AI tools are not used at any point in the formation, development, refinement, or review of professional opinions. No AI tool is consulted to generate, suggest, or validate conclusions.

Report Writing All forensic reports issued by Codex Psychological and Forensic Services are written entirely by Dr. Bartuski. AI tools are not used to draft, outline, edit, revise, summarize, or otherwise assist in the preparation of any report or written work product. Every word in every report reflects Dr. Bartuski's own professional analysis and judgment.

Expert Testimony Preparation AI tools are not used in the preparation of expert testimony, including the review of findings, the anticipation of cross-examination, or the preparation of demonstrative materials.
